6th Grade Read-Aloud List

Here are the books I read to N. during his 6th grade year as an 11-year-old.  As his life gets busier, we find there is less and less time for reading aloud at bedtime, and I hope to do a better job next year of prioritizing this.  Tim still reads aloud to him during the school day, and I did not record those books here, but hope to soon when I recap the 6th grade school year.  This year N. asked for several repeats -- books I'd read aloud to him in previous years, and I was happy to revisit them.  Reading aloud is a great opportunity to introduce more complex texts, and it's just such a special time to share!
